There's really nothing more enticing than the smell of fresh brewed coffee. It's not that I like coffee, it's that I can't be a functioning person without it. I'm actually debating on selling my Keurig 2.0 & opting for that new Ninja coffee bar I keep seeing on TV commercials. You know, the one where the drinks look like they came straight out of a Starbucks? Speaking of SB - my town finally got one <3 & it causing quite the controversy. Half of FB is really pissed, & the other half couldn't be more ecstatic. I'm all for supporting locally owned shops! My town actually has 2 of the best coffee shops you'll ever step foot in. Coffee Amici & George House. Coffee Amici offers live music on weekends, & George House has a very "tumblr" feel to it. If you're ever in my town, I'd suggest you stop by both! But I do love me some Starbucks. Because it's such a big corporation, the store is always modern & clean - unlike mom & pop shops. So really, I like having options to fit my mood. I'm always in the mood for coffee but sometimes I want that homey feel, that cozy feel, & sometimes I want that fancy feel. Anyhow - I had no intention of even blogging about coffee, but here we are. One unorganized paragraph later. What I wanted to talk about was.....well, I don't even know. But hey, I start Spring semester in 4 days! I couldn't be more excited about that. Ever since I changed my major from Sociology to Early Childhood Education I've been a little more happier. Not to mention I left the STNA life & I'm now part of management at Claire's & that's improved my overall mood. I've never had a job I truly loved until I started managing a retail store. Who would of guessed?!?! Not I. SO, I got this nifty little computer tablet get up. Dell Inspirion 11 3000 series to be exact. Unfortunately it doesn't have the processor, ram, or GB I truly desire, but it still gets the job done (for now). My old dinosaur of a desktop finally took a crap. & although I plan to spend about a grand on my next desktop, I settled for a simple laptop to get me through another semester or two. Oh! Back to Starbucks! I kind of want to move to the other side of town so I can be closer to it.
Hope everyone had a good Holiday season.
xo.
Happy Blogging!
What A Mess
Welcome to the life of Miranda. I love tea, coffee, pretty things, functionalism, & reading. I have an idea of how life should go, but I never seem to be able to live up to my standards. Follow me, but I should warn you, you're likely to end up lost.

Just some mushy garbage.
My babe has to work on Valentines day, so we celebrated a little last night. It was nice to have an excuse to do cute things for him, I definitely realized how much more I should probably start doing to show him how much he means to me on a daily basis. Anyways, I went out and found the biggest box of chocolates they had at Walmart, and then I took all the chocolates out. I made a run to Hobby Lobby and got a Styrofoam pallet bigger than the heart, some colored construction paper, and tape with hearts on it. I also grabbed a huge bag of starburst, a bottle of Mt. Dew and Dr. Pepper and a ten pack of this mini Jack Daniels bottles. You could say my creative side came out yesterday lol. Anyways here's a picture of the end result. It's pretty self explanatory on what I did.
I am very excited for him to come home, were going out and getting the ingredients to make home made pizzas <3 I cannot wait. Til then, I'll be sipping on the huge bottle of wine he gave me and indulging in my school studies. (;

Bitching up a storm.
Excuse my language, but the past events are making me use my angry words.
What I don't understand, is why some people think they can raise a child, when they're not even stable enough to take care of themselves. I know this woman, who's always depended on help from men. That's how she's bought every car, every downpayment for a house, & pretty much just everything. Even her job (as a bartender) is dependent on her flirting with men for good tips, that should go towards paying bills & buying necessities. Even since she was 16 years old (she's 40 now) she's work as a waitress or a bartender. A few times she worked in some factories, but that's another story. (It's not a good one either, because if you know factories, you know they're swarming with druggies.) Anyways. Why would someone like that want to take on the roll of raising a kid? Oh that's right, you get a bunch of free shit from the government!! How selfish. What's even more fucked, is how that woman can convince her 20 year old daughter to allow her to claim her on taxes, promising her money. That she never even sees!! Lies after lies after lies. (sorry if you're not following very well, I just need to vent, I don't care much on making sense) Anyways. This said daughter, has recently signed up for college. But only because her mother promised to take her to school every morning. (she doesn't have her license yet, but she will soon. she only needed rides to & from school for about a month & half) Anyways, poor girl has missed about 10 days of school already & it's only been about 5 weeks since the school year started. Why she missed so much school you ask? Because her mother decided to stay out drinking til 3a.m. I don't understand how this girls mother is okay with spending hundreds of dollars on alcohol, but has the nerve to bitch when her daughter needs a 4 dollar box of tampons. Fucking pathetic. Okay it's getting rather annoying typing in this manner. I'm "the daughter" & I'm obviously ranting about my own mother. I don't think I should say anymore, even though I could go on for hours. But I might end up saying some personal things I don't even want my blog to know about, so I'll end this by saying, hahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahaha, my life is a joke.

Getting fit......
Just started Day 1 of the 30 Day Squat Challenge.... (As posted on my Instagram) 50 squats was not a cup of tea like I had imagined. Rather, after the 30th squat every time I re-positioned myself standing, it was accompanied by some sailor talk [;
Now, "squatting" is not my only "Get Fit" method. I usually exercise in other various ways a couple times a week as well (gym, workout videos, exercise routine, jogging, etc.) But I specifically want to squat EVERYDAY because I had a car accident a few years back, (well I actually got hit by a car, but same difference), and now my tail bone is broken. My buttocks is kindof funny shaped & squatting pin points your booty, so I'm hoping it'll help reshape my butt. Hahahah. Anyways, my legs feel like jell-o. I'm gonna go stuff my face now ;] toodles!
P.S. - keep an eye out for my detox blog entry coming soon! It's full of good stuff, you don't want to miss if you're trying to start down the road of healthy living!

Oy vey.
I haven't had a blog in 9 years. & why I had a blog when I was 11, I'm not certain... But being 20, I definitely have more interesting things to ramble about. Not to mention 10 thousand lbs. of stress that needs vented & relieved. Was it just me or does every child think they have the world figured out? I remember being so young, & thinking life couldn't get much rougher. I thought I knew everything. Boy was I wrong. I think I sometimes still have the "i-have-it-all-figured-out" mindset. Which I should really work on. There's still much for me to learn & experiences for me to, well, experience. Anyways, look at me getting off topic, I'm going to go brew up some coffee & begin on my studies. It's Saturday, & on weekends I tend to be antisocial. Just like every other day of my life. Haha, just kidding. Sort of. I've lived in the area of Findlay for around 10 years now, & I can definitely say I'm bored with the place. In 2 years I plan to expand my horizons & move to Colorado. Where I desire to continue my Sociology major at the University of Colorado: Boulder. There's many reasons why I wish to live there. I'll post another blog in a day or so with pictures & activities available there that made me fall in love. But for now this is all I have, hasta luego!
